The Proliner, core component of the newest high end inserter, was on display at Nexpo last week in Washington DC. Jackets were brought in from a satellite feeder, opened, two inserts, and then picked out with gripper conveyor to be conveyed away to a dumpster.
The system was shown in operation at speeds over 40,000 cycles per hour. Demonstrations were given three times daily, and .it. .didn't. .miss. .once.
More extensions of this system to come at Drupa.
