The savings were biggest on new books, especially those only out in hardback. If you simply must read Rick Perlstein's Nixonland now, you can pay $24.75 for the traditional version or $9.99 on Kindle.
This technology has not reached critical mass, but the ibook breakthrough can not be far off.
